How does Orita detect bots?
Orita uses behavioral analysis, not simple rules like “hasn’t opened in X days.”
The system evaluates patterns across engagement, purchasing behavior, timing, and consistency to determine whether a profile behaves like a real person or not.
Exact detection logic and thresholds are proprietary and continuously evolving.
What happens when a profile is identified as a bot?
When a profile is identified as bot-like, it is automatically suppressed so it no longer receives marketing emails that could hurt performance or deliverability.
No manual action is required.
Can bots be permanently removed from my ESP?
Orita does not delete profiles from your ESP. This keeps your data intact while protecting your email program.
Will bot detection reduce my list size?
Your total list size in your ESP will not change, but the number of profiles you actively send to may decrease. This is expected and usually results in healthier engagement metrics over time.
