How do I know what profiles have been touched by Orita?

We run our models every week and update the profiles with a profile property called orita_status. The orita_status property will be updated with either of the following statuses:

  1. suppressed (profile was suppressed by us)
  2. reactivated (profile was reactivated by us)
  3. nonhuman (profile is thought to be junk/spam)
  4. duplicate (profile is thought to be a duplicate account)
  5. holdout (profile is in a holdout group and therefore will not be touched by us)
  6. null (profile that we have not touched yet)

You can create a segment in Klaviyo by the orita_status property, for each status option. This will allow you to understand what we are doing week over week, but also dictate what to do with certain profiles as they re-engage and get reactivated.

Here’s how:

  1. In Klaviyo, go to “Audience” → “Lists & segments”
  2. Click “Create New” on the top right corner
  3. Click “Create segment”
  4. Add a name
  5. For Definition, choose the “properties about someone” condition
  6. Choose orita_status as the dimension → “equals” → choose status → type=text
    1. Only statuses currently used within you audience will appear here. If you don’t have statuses on profiles yet, or only have a few, keep that in mind.
